It Was a BUSY Week on Featherbed Lane!

Hold onto your helmets, folks! We celebrated 100 Days of School and Football Friday in honor of the Super Bowl this weekend. It was so exciting that even the balloons were bouncing off the walls!

100 Days of School: A Celebration of Epic Proportions!

On the 100th day of school, students were treated to some seriously fun activities, including:

Tasting 100 yummy things (because who wouldn’t want to eat a century's worth of snacks?)
Classrooms filled with 100 balloons (which may or may not have led to a mini-balloon war)
Special backdrops & photo ops (perfect for those “I survived 100 days of school” selfies)
And so much more that we lost count—

Football Friday: Touchdowns and Treats!

On Football Friday, students had a BLAST! Walking through the classrooms was like stepping into a mini Super Bowl, minus the million-dollar commercials and halftime show. The themed activities were so engaging that even the teachers were trying to join in!

The FBL staff truly go above and BEYOND for our littles—seriously, they deserve a trophy for their efforts (maybe a Heisman trophy?) Students enjoyed:

Football-themed sensory bins (where squishy footballs met squishier hands)
Photo backdrops that made everyone look like MVPs (Most Valuable Peeps)
Creating their own football jerseys (because who doesn’t want to look like a pro while spelling their name?)
Football dot-dot sheets (a.k.a. “the art of dotting your way to victory”)
And the cherry on top—a SURPRISE TREAT: CUPCAKES from Pinho's Bakery! (Because what’s a football game without a little sugar rush?)

All in all, it was a week filled with laughter, learning, and enough FUN to fuel a football team! We can’t wait for the next adventure on Featherbed Lane!
