FBLS was FROSTED for January and February!
Students enjoyed two months of literature, science, crafts, special snacks, and games all with a "SNOW" theme! It was like a winter wonderland, except without the frostbite (we hope).
Classes made S'mores to defrost from the freeze at FBL! Because nothing says "I’m thawing out" like melting chocolate and marshmallows. Each class had the opportunity to make their very own class Snow Man to keep in their classroom during the frost! We’re still waiting for them to start a snowball fight with the staff!
We made our very own "Blizzards" in class—students learned how to mix the ingredients and make their own special treat! No, not the kind you get at Dairy Queen, but the kind that makes you wish you had a snow shovel to dig through the sugary goodness!
We had a Winter Carnivale Snowball Fight as a group—It was a blast! We’re still finding snowballs in places we didn’t think were possible. Who knew artifical snow balls could be so sneaky?
We ended our FROST with a special FROSTY THE SNOWMAN BOUNCE HOUSE and A HUMAN SNOW-GLOBE!! Students were able to enter the Snow Globe and have a snowball fight while conducting a group lesson inside a SNOW GLOBE! How COOL!! (We’re still working on getting the snowflakes to stop sticking to our hair.)
There truly is no place like FBLS—especially when we are FROSTED! Just remember, if you see a snowman wearing sunglasses, it’s not a mirage; it’s just us having too much fun!
